也是這張卡，啟發了「WISHING RIVER 」10年計畫的誕生，開啟了整個願望卡藝術計畫的起點。
藝術家呂英菖也將這張珍藏的「 鬍子曼托 」轉化為創作靈感，融入自我想像和願望投射，
創作了作品《許願先生 - 擁有 1952 Bearded Mantle 》。
不只是紀念一位傳奇球員，更是一段關於「收藏如何成為信念」、「願望如何變成藝術」的故事。
而這，就是那張卡片成為整座魔法花園 "WISHING RIVER "的起點。
In 1952, the legendary Mickey Mantle card—known as the “Bearded Mantle”—was born.
It has been preserved for 73 years, like a wish held in silence, quietly existing through time.
Its creases and weathered surface resemble a beard, yet they shimmer with light—deep and real, just like a wish.
It was this very card that inspired the birth of the “WISHING RIVER” 10-year project,
marking the beginning of the entire Wishing Card art journey.
Artist Lu Ying-Chang transformed this treasured “Bearded Mantle”
into a source of creative inspiration, blending imagination and the projection of
wishes into his artwork “Mr. Make A Wish – Holding the 1952 Bearded Mantle.”
It is not only a tribute to a legendary player, but also a story about howcollecting becomes belief, and how a wish turns into artAnd this card—became the very starting point of the magical garden called “WISHING RIVER.” This is not only a card, but a bridge between past and future. It carries time, memory, and the quiet power of belief. Every crease tells a story, every shimmer holds a dream. Through art, the wish continues to live and grow.
