Lu Ying-Chang was born in 1979 in Taipei. He attended the Nuova Accademia Di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan, Italy, which became a crucial source of inspiration for his future creations. In 2009, he received the Personal Award from "Geisai Taiwan," known as the Murakami Award.
Starting in 2011, Lu began drawing inspiration from his family life and surroundings for his artworks. He metaphorically incorporated his family members and everyday objects into his artistic characters. His artistic journey evolved from tribal imagery to the use of bears, rabbits, and other symbols, all depicted in mythological-like narratives.
He created various series of artworks such as gardens, arks, wishing pools, and "figure outline" portraits. In 2021, he introduced "Mr. makeAish," showcasing a blend of flat painting, three-dimensional pieces, mixed media, NFTs, and the Wishing Pool Art Project, exploring different aspects of creation and expressing life philosophies.
His works have been exhibited in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Italy, Moscow, and Taipei, among other places. Lu hopes that through his art, he can bring some beauty and warmth to the world.

呂英菖2011年開始以家庭的生活經歷.作為創作靈感.將家人與周遭的事物. 隱喻在畫面的角色裡.從開始的部落形象的轉化，到後來使用小熊兔子等的延續。都透過神話故事般的畫面.闡述著。
他創作出花園.方舟.許願池.“描擴顯影行為”(figure outline)肖像..等系列作品。
2021年創造出 ''許願先生 - Mr makeAish'' 。以平面繪畫.立體作品.複合媒材.NFT與許願池藝術計畫等呈現不同面向創作。闡述著生命哲學. 我隱藏著...。
作品曾在上海.香港.韓國.日本.義大利.莫斯科及台北等地發表。
期待透過作品能為世界帶來一些美好與溫暖。
