因之,I see you,我看見你,看見藝術。

As technology and technique advance further, and immersive presentation and AI
generation become more sophisticated, when it comes to visual art, it is undeniable that
most of us are still accustomed to viewing it with our own eyes, or our eyes with other
devices. "See" has become an important way for us to know or understand the
surroundings and things, just like "I see" as a spoken expression in English refers to "I
understand" or "That's how it is."

Artists often have an inner intuition of destiny, or as the Icelanders call it, "passion for
destiny", which prompts them to apply this inner energy to express what they see

through different forms or media. It is just like the six-legged hexapede in the movie
"Avatar", traveling and playing in the rainforests, savannas, tundra wastelands and
mountains of the planet Pandora with their keen sense abilities and innate intuitive
reactions. They have fun and yet need to deal with various unknown dangers that are
crucial to survival.

This long-standing creative behavior and career may be defined as a kind of "art"
created by perseverance and determination. The artist's creations originate from
his/her/their own life experiences. Certain ritual behaviors in life also become
opportunities for the emergence of art, and even form a storm-like art movement. Think
of the salons that were popular in Europe in the 17th and 18th centuries. Although they
mainly serve for upper class, they provided artists, literati, and scholars with an
opportunity to publish and communicate. It has played an indispensable role in
promoting the development of European culture, art, and philosophy.
After the 20th century, in addition to salons, artists also communicated and interacted
in different venues such as personal studios. In the 1970s, Studio 54 in New York
blended fashion trends and contemporary art. Nowadays, artists may no longer
gathering in art salons, but more often in coffee shops, snack bars, and even social
media messages... The exchanges and conversations longed for them have never
stopped, and the discussions are all about art, culture, creation, and even gossip and
scandal that can trigger creation.
In every meet-up or conversation, each other also saw the art and works that existed in
the artist's thoughts and energy. Therefore, I see you, I see the ART.
The twelve artists on view in this exhibition have all been persistently pursuing their
career of creations for many years. Each has his/her/their own creative beliefs and focus.
The media and forms used span two-dimensional paintings, three-dimensional objects,
ceramics, and mixed media. In groups of two, in addition to exhibiting the works of
individual creators, they also collaborate to create a piece of artwork. By doing so, the

exhibition intends to have a profound presentation on artist's exploration between self-
creation and collective consciousness. It might be confrontation, co-creation., or

unexpected transmutations and chemical reactions.
